Subject: A Hint: Drink more Coke!
Subject: A Hint: Drink more Coke!
Pretty entertaining travelogue here, with the main moral apparently being, no matter where you go, how much of a distant point you run off to, there will always be Coke just in case you want it! We go all around the world, stopping at such far flung places as Egypt, Japan and the Phillipines, and we briefly go over some of the main tourist attractions there. Funny how every cuisine around the world can blend well with Coke. Some of the coke scenes are pretty wild (like the scenes in India).

Subject: THE Product Placement Bible!

I agree with the critique written for Part One, so to keep in tune I only will give this one star also.
One thing that I found totally amusing about this film (and you need to see all 3 parts joined to capture the full insanity of this)is that this was made years before the public was aware of the idea or ideals of corporate "product placement". The instructions to the film makers were probably to place as many glasses, bottles, Coke machines, Coke logos, etc. in an otherwise drab travelogue.
Once you are hipped to this, there is a absence of Coke advertising for a very very long two minute segment showing a Spanish bullfight. I bet the stockholders were trembling!! Two whole minutes of no pause that refreshes! I guess in the minds of Coke advertisers this was called "experimental filmmaking"!
